Public invited to share ideas on Coliseum

NEW HAVEN — Planning experts and the general public are invited to attend a three-hour discussion on the future of the New Haven Coliseum site from 1 to 4 p.m. on Monday at ARTSPACE, 50 Orange St.

Architects, designers, planners, artists and citizens are invited to submit proposals in any physical format before the event or just show up and talk or listen.

The works will be displayed at the discussion and for two weeks afterward at the New Haven Free Public Library.

In addition, Monday at noon, also at ARTSPACE, a one-hour lecture will consider the Coliseum, architecture and New Haven city planning.

The symposium is part of THE EDGE New Haven Fringe Festival, part of the International Festival of Arts & Ideas.
